Lebanese singer Carol Samaha has announced to the world that she is passionately in love, affirming that the relationship has a strong potential for marriage.
Being in love is an essential part of life and her primary concern, which is why she is willing to openly discuss her relationship, explained the singer.
Carol admitted that she is not afraid of ruining her reputation, and should not feel ashamed by announcing her relationship. She does not understand why some artists think revealing such matters is a taboo, she added.
Carol revealed that the man in her life is not from the entertainment world, and the success of their relationship depends solely upon their level of trust.
The singer did draw the line when questioned about his characteristics, stressing that she will keep very personal matters away from the media.
“The man in my life admires my talent and appreciates the effort I place in my work” she declared, and in turn she “respects his strong character.”
“It is still too early to discuss marriage, and the relationship needs to be strengthened from all side before the picture is complete,” the singer revealed in a recent interview.
Carol has already begun work sessions with a number of composers to select the songs for her upcoming album. She is also preparing to shoot her third music video for the song “Keef Bidi Eish” (How Can I Live) from her latest album “Ana Hura” (I’m Free), but has yet to decide on a director.
According to the London based daily, Dar Al Hayat, Carol will head to Tunisia and Libya, where she is scheduled to hold a number of concerts.
The singer is reading a new film script written especially for her, to play the role of a performing artist. The cast and crew are scheduled to begin filming the first scenes of the Egyptian production this summer.
