Disputes between Nawal and Michel began when the singer did not hold a previously scheduled concert in California sponsored by Michel in 2004, but due to the fact that the singer’s bands were not given visas the concert was concert.
Michel had also claimed that he signed a contract with Nawal’s former business manager to hold a number of concerts around the US and Canada, but the singer stressed that the contract was signed without her prior knowledge.
In his lawsuit, Michel is demanding financial compensations for the losses the singer caused him, in addition to a ban forbidding Nawal to hold any performances in Canada, reported the London based Elaph.
Al Zoughbi has finally completed recording the songs for her upcoming album. The new album, which will be produced by Alam El Phan, features ten songs sung in different dialects.
Nawal has denied rumors over the existence of disputes between her and production company ‘Alam El Phan.’
