‘Dalida’’s been done many a time, let’s be honest, but we’re eager to see what Egyptian actress Bushra plans to do with the story of the singer born in the Shubra neighborhood to Italian immigrant parents.
Bushra believes that the late songstress’ accomplishments are worthy of further exploration and hopes that a stellar director and production company 'New Century' will jump on board of the project she hopes to release in Ramadan 2014.
After birthing a baby and limiting her career to film, Bushra plans to return to the small screen to present different stages in Dalida’s life, from her humble beginning to her hit 1980’s song "Hilwa Ya Baladi" (My Beautiful Country), which is still popular today btw, to her final resting place in France in 1987.
