The cast of Adel Imam’s latest comedic play, Al Bodyguard (The Bodyguard), is being badgered by invites from various Arab countries, reported Al Raya newspaper.
According to the Qatari daily, the already popular play, hit its peak after various successful performances in Tunisia.
The daily cited Jordan, Algeria and Syria as some of the many countries that have asked for the play.
Meanwhile, Imam, who has been very busy recently, had decided to stop the play for the current season due to two reasons: the first is the beginning of the school year and the second is that the actor is occupied with the filming of his latest Silver Screen project, Amir El Thalam (Prince of Darkness).
Bodyguard was written by Youssef Ma’ati, directed by Rami Imam, Adel’s son, and stars both Adel Imam and Raghda. – Albawaba.com.
