Despite her constant refusal to accept any acting roles for the past 27 years, the website Al Muheet has revealed that the resigned legendary actress Shams Al Baroudi may just return to the bright lights of television.
The website said that Shams had initially accepted taking part in a project alongside her husband Egyptian actor Hassan yousif in a new drama that tackles the life of Hamas official Ahmad Yasin. It was added that Mustafa Al Shal would direct the new drama.
Shams announced her resignation from the acting world in 1985 and decided to devote her life to worshiping God and staying away from the spotlight.
