ALBAWABA - Actor Sunay Kurtuluş questioned after Ayşegül Eraslan found dead.
The investigation into the death of fashion designer and social media celebrity Ayşegül Eraslan, who was found dead in her home in Kağıthane, is deepening. Actor Sunay Kurtuluş, who arrived at the house an hour before the incident, gave a statement as a "witness," while notes left behind by Eraslan revealed the extent of the tragedy.
Tension arose from a "joking slap" that occurred in the final hours before the incident.
Security camera footage examined by Kağıthane Public Security Bureau teams revealed that actor Sunay Kurtuluş (28) entered the house approximately an hour before the incident. Kurtuluş, whose statement was taken, stated that they had met three weeks prior and described that night as follows:
“She wanted to meet after returning from Egypt, so I went to her house. While we were drinking tea and joking around, she slapped me. I told her I didn't like physical jokes and reacted to it. When she went to her room, I got ready; she gave me a hat as a gift, and I left the house. Afterwards, we exchanged messages, and she blocked me.”
Heartbreaking Farewell Note: “I Never Received Parental Love”
Police teams found notes written on a whiteboard and a letter during their investigation at the house. Eraslan's notes contained these striking statements about her childhood and family:
“I experienced a lot of violence; life is truly bad.”
“I apologize to my father; I am as lonely as my mother. I received neither motherly nor fatherly love.”
“Please take good care of my dogs; I can't get over some things.”
From Egyptian Vacation to Death
According to security cameras, the 27-year-old designer entered the building with her suitcase on March 11th, returning from a vacation in Egypt. According to the statement of her friend Hasan Tufan S., Eraslan had previously attempted suicide twice, but this was not reported to the judicial authorities.
Cause of Death Clarified
Investigations revealed that Ayşegül Eraslan cut her left wrist while writing the farewell note (blood traces were detected on the note), but the cut did not reach vital vessels. It is believed that after writing the note, the young woman ended her life by hanging herself with a belt on the stairs of her duplex house.
