The Egyptian actress Athar Al Hakim is busy filming the first scenes of her newest television drama series “Al Watar Al Mashdood” (The Tight Cord) which is directed by Khaled Bahjat. The series will star famous Egyptian actress Maali Zayed, Ahmad Khalil, Kamal Abu Rayeh and Sameh Al Sariti.
The new series touches on a number of social issues like the latest international economic crises. Hakim will play the role of Dr. Amirah who has a PHD in economics. She gets in numerous conflicts with people who have bank loans and need to pay it off.
