Lebanese singer Assi Hilani has recently held a charity concert at the Cairo Opera house, in which all proceeds went directly to a new women's hospital part of the Woman Development Association Hayati project. After the event Assi held a press conference where he talked about the details and goals of the charity concert.
The singer also revealed that he plans on going a tour around the Arab world starting with Egypt in the very near future. Hilani has also announced that the disputes between him and his production company Rotana have finally ended and they were based on mere misunderstandings.
Assi stressed that the disputes with Rotana were minor ones and were resolved in no time. During the press conference the singer made a shocking revelation which was that his mother's gold necklace was behind the production of his first song. The singer revealed that at the start of his career a song cost 5 thousand Lebanese Liras to be produced and he only had 3 at the time.
