The great Lebanese artist Asi Hilani has finished recording more than 20 songs, 12 of which he will select to include on his upcoming album to be released within the next three weeks.
The new album, called “Dali Maai” (Stay with Me) is produced by production company “AMD,” owned by Asi Hilani. The album will be distributed in the Arab World by the company “Art Line Music.”
The album features songs in the Lebanese, Egyptian and Bedouin dialects, as well as one in the ‘khaliji’ (Gulf).
Hilani said the diversity is his effort to satisfy the taste of his fans.
Hilani’s new album also features two new duets. The first duet, called “Sahra Al Sharq” (The Eastern Desert) is with the Syrian artist Rowaida Atyeh. The second duet, called “Wenak Habibi” (Where Are You My Love) is sung with the Tunisian artist Shayma Al Hilali, who is also a graduate of the music talent show “Star Academy.”
Hilani worked with a number of great Arab poets and composers like Nizar Francis, Marcil Madoor, Salim Al Bostani, and Jan Mari Riyashi.
Asi’s new video clip for the song “Yemkin” (Maybe) will be aired on music satellite channels in conjunction with the release the album. The song is written by Nizar Francis and composed by Jan Mari Riyashi. Hilani worked with the Lebanese director Saed Al Marouq on the new clip.
