A dab hand at Arab Idol and winner of the first season of TV hit talent show, Egyptian Carmen Suleiman has been showing the newbies how its done.

School-age crown holder, Carmen, who has had to grow up pretty fast since her sensational win, had a special word to spare for the Arab Idol hopefuls of the show's second airing.  The old-timer spoke to the new Arab Idol contestants as they attended rehearsals, offering words of wisdom and support.  The little lady addressed the fresh-faced competitors with this rousing pep-talk:

‘There is no room for fear, for every contestant must imagine that they are singing alone and forget all about the panel of judges and audience and only concentrate on their singing; this is the way to boost confidence.”

Carmen recounted this step back in time to the Arab Idol world as exciting and filled with nostalgia. She could never forget her experience of being part of the show that propelled her into stardom, and her only regret was that there had not been more opportunity to bond with her peer contestants.

Carmen- who relished meeting the new judge panel of Arab Idol Season 2-  assured fans that she was in the process of readying her first album which would show-case her new recordings. The ex-Arab Idol is expected to release a new single and music video shortly.
