Earlier this month, Egyptian singer Angham filed for divorce in court from her husband Fahed Muhammad the music distributor. Fahed who holds a Kuwaiti nationality had previously denied that his wife filed for divorce had said that the two are in the process of getting back together.
According to the London daily Elaph, the couple did not show up in court for the hearing, which was made for them to try and make up. Angham’s lawyer made it very clear that she has no intention of getting back together with her husband. She insists on getting the divorce, because of her husband constant jealousy of her success, unlike his failure according to Angham’s lawyer.
On the other hand Fahed’s lawyer did not show up at the hearing. The judge at the court house points out that Angham has the right to divorce her husband, since the chance of getting back together has faded.
