Egyptian singer Angham, who is currently in Beirut to film an episode for the popular program “Khalik Bil Bait” (Stay at Home) hosted by on the Lebanese satellite channel Future TV, will take advantage of her stay in Lebanon and submit the master copy of her upcoming album to her production company
Rotana to pave the way for its release at the beginning of the new year.
According to the London based Elaph, in the album, Angham cooperated with a number of prominent poets and composers. She has chosen the song “Khud Mini Rouhi” (Take my Soul) to film as music video, but has not yet chosen a director to direct it.
Angham had previously expressed her extreme anger towards the media for meddling in her personal life and publishing rumors of her divorce to music distributor Fahed.
It was rumored that sources verified that Angham had gotten a divorce from her husband and that close friends revealed that the divorce occurred as a result of endless problems between the couple that have been going on for months and caused the relationship to reach a dead-end.
Some media sources stated that one of the main reasons behind the breakup is the existence of a love affair between Fahed and young Egyptian actress Mirna Al Muhandis.
The singer had made no comment regarding the news of her divorce which according to many only implied that she may have actually gotten the divorce.
Since the couple first got married two years ago, rumors began surfacing that she and her husband are facing marital problems. It was added that due the problems the two cut their honeymoon short and returned to Egypt.
The couple at the time claimed that they only planned on a two week honeymoon, due to the fact that both have overwhelming work obligations. Angham had to begin choosing the songs for her album, and Fahed was overloaded with songs to compose for different singers.
Angham has one son with Fahed and already has a son from a previous marriage.
