Angham finally acknowledges her father

Host Wisam Bridi invited famous Egyptian singer Angham as a guest on his entertainment show “Ala Difaf Al Neel” (On the banks of the Nile). On the program, Wisam went back in history to remind the famous singer of her past and her childhood.


Angham who was born in Alexandria Egypt, talked about her childhood and her adolescent and that she lived a love story only through her songs. Angham talked about her first appearance as a singer in 1987 under the supervision of her father.

 

Throughout her journey, Angham faced numerous obstacles and family problem the latest being her recent divorce from her husband Fahed going back to her problems with her father, musician Mohammad Ali Suleiman, whom she accused of being jealous of her success. Despite recently having lashed her father publicly in another interview, on the show Angham admitted that most of her success is due in part to her father’s support.


According to the London daily Elaph, she also talked about her experience with theater, where she starred in the play “Laila Min Alf Laila” (A Night from a Thousand Nights) and later on with the famous Egyptian singer Ali Al Hajar in the play “Rasasah Fel Al Qalb” (A Bullet in the Heart).
