Lebanese singer Amal Hijazi has taken the initial steps in producing her third album, by recording most of the songs to be featured in it. The new album is scheduled for release during the month of April and Amal is hopeful it will meet the satisfaction of her fans.

According to the London based Elaph, the songs featured in the album are a mix of modern and romance sung in both the Egyptian and Lebanese accents. Amal has so far completed the recording of five songs, which were written and composed by some of the most prominent names in the music industry.

Amal revealed that the new album may not be produced by her production company Music Master. She denied the existence of any form of disputes simply saying they did not agree on some issues and that the music industry relies on supply and demand.

Recently, Amal was robbed while going home by unidentified individuals, who were apparently waiting for the right moment to attack her. The singer had just parked her car in front of her home and as she prepared to get out a group of men suddenly attacked the car and stole her handbag.

The thieves stole the bag and ran away, leaving Amal in a state of utter shock and fear not knowing how to react. The singer revealed that all her identification cards and other important papers were in the bag, in addition to a small some of money. Amal noted that this is the first time she was robbed and jokingly said she is considering having bodyguards to protect her the next time she is out.

Amal announced the launch of Panasonic's DMR-E60, the fourth-generation 'DIGA' DVD video recorders. Amal revealed that the offer given by the electronic company Panasonic, which she is their brand ambassador in the Middle East, was a very attractive one that made refusing it an unwise thing to do. The singer added that she is not ashamed to admit that money plays a very important factor in her decision making, and she has such a strong love of money and prefers it over a romantic relationship. – Albawaba.com
