After her album "Mistani Aih" (What are you Waiting for), Lebanese singer Amal Hijazi has returned to the scenes with a new album "Baya’ El Wurood" (Flower Seller) under the production of Rotana.’

Amal has acquired a shocking new look to accompany her new release. She has gone to the extreme and cut her hair shorter than that of an ordinary man, and it is yet to be seen whether her fans will accept this new image.

The singer recently returned from a successful tour in Australia alongside Lebanese impersonator Bassem Faghali and television host Tony Khalifa, who hosted all of the concerts. During the tour, ‘Studio Al Phan,’ Bassem, and Tony held a surprise birthday party for Amal.

The Lebanese Cultural College has presented ‘Studio Al Phan,’ the Voice of Tomorrow radio station, Amal, Bassem, and Tony each with an award for their great achievements.

Hijazi recently revealed her true feelings toward other female singers.

Amal stated that she is on good terms with most female singers and many of them are her friends, except Lebanese singer Alissa. She and Alissa are not on speaking terms and she does not believe this matter will change any time soon, but despite this fact she wishes Alissa the best.

Amal stressed that she is not enemies with Alissa, stating, "We are merely two people who do not mix with one another, and if we by chance meet we just say ‘hello.’"

Amal stated that she does not compete with any specific singer, but rather is inspired by the success of others and strives to always do her best.
