Lebanese singer Amal Hijazi is mourning the loss of her aunt. The singer traveled to the south of Lebanon to attend the funeral ceremony and to be close to her family.
Amal will be accepting condolences from friends at her home in Beirut, and will refrain from performing out of respect. Amal had intended on holding a number of summer concerts around the Arab world.
After a long absence from the scenes, Amal plans on releasing a new single “Ba’ed Sineen” (After Years). The singer also plans on filming music video for the song, but has yet to choose a director.
The last appearance by Amal was in the music video “Bitdour Ala Albi” (Searching for my heart) under the direction of Nadine Libky.
