For the second time in his career, Egyptian actor Ahmad Izz has joined director Sandra Nash’at for a new film, “Kirfa Bil Laban” (Cinnamon and Yogurt).
Writer, Nabil Farouq, revealed that he has almost completed the script, and filming is scheduled to begin next month, but the remaining cast has not yet been chosen.
The film is expected to witness significant success, as was the case with Sandra’s previous film “Malaki Iskindirya,” also starring Ahmad.
A protocol agreement was signed in Cairo at the end of December between the International Labor Organization and Ahmad, naming him as a ‘Friend of the Organization’ in the Northern African region.
According to the London based Elaph, the agreement comes as part of the current campaign waged in Egypt by the organization under the banner “Kart Ahmar La’amal Al Atfal” (A Red Card for Child Labor).
Izz stated that he is “grateful for the new position,” and hopes he will be able to contribute as much as possible to different charitable endeavors to help children.
