The young Egyptian actor Ahmad Iz denied that he received threats after he took the leading role in the new film “Al Thawahri.”
Iz said that he only received advice about his new role and that such advice is beneficial, since he is playing such a controversial personality.
“Al Thawahri” is about the second man in Al Qa’idah and was written by Hazem Al Hadidi and directed by Ahmad Ala. Ala directed his first film “Badal Faqed” (Replacement) last year which starred Ahmad Iz and Mina Shalaby.
