The satellite music channel Melody will start airing the new song for former Egyptian squash player and now singer Ahmed Barada entitled “Sa'alouni Ouyouni” in the upcoming few days. The clip was filmed in many places around the Egyptian capital Cairo including Qaser el-Neil bridge and the some allies downtown Cairo.
The Omar Qasem and Italian Edward Logari directed the clip. The cast included a big group of both Egyptians and Italians youths. Director Logari chose the Czech model Eleina to act with Ahmed Barada in the clip.
The video clip was taken from Ahmad's first musical album entitled “Hikayat”, words by Mohammed Rifa3i and tunes by Waleed Shiraki. Barada will be holding many concerts in Hurghada, Cairo, and Paris during the months of July and August.
The new album, entitled Hikayat, will includes ten songs one of them, “Kolloh Min Oyounak”, which will be shot as a music video clip. Barada expects success for his new album especially that one of the album’s songs was chosen among the songs to be presented for the World Cup Tournament in 2010 if it is to be held in Egypt.
Barada revealed that he is putting off accepting new acting offers due to the fact that he wants to concentrate on his singing career.
Recently the engagement between Barada and Egyptian actress Hala Shiha was broken due to several reasons. Barada had previously announced his engagement to Hala and said that he found all what he wished in a woman in Hala. The two had gotten engaged after denying any form of bond between them to be more than a friendship. The couple held their engagement among a small circle of very close family member wanting the occasion to be as private as possible.
Ahmad stressed that he did not want their engagement pictures to be released to the press and wanted them to be kept private, saying that when he and Hala are married they will release them. The couple’s relationship had began with them becoming friends and then progressed to the point that they realized they could not live without one another.
Ahmed Barada retired on August 2001 due to inability to recover from back injury after being stabbed twice in the back by a mystery assailant, and sought medical treatment in Germany and France. –Albawaba.com
