UAE singer, Ahlam, has always been proud of her curves, flauting them at any opportunity on stage. But since giving birth to daughter, Lulu, the star has been increasingly insecure about her weight, according to sources close to her.
After piling on the pounds, the songstress went on a crash diet to try to squeeze in to her new wardrobe for the next season of Arab Idol. Now she is turning to even more extreme methods to shift those pounds, according to Arab media reports.
Ahlam told reporters this week that she has been attending an acupuncture clinic in Egypt that claims to use needles to help her lose her appetite completely. In her first week she shot down the scales by a massive 4 kilos.
But the star is still not satisfied and says she'll be keeping on the program until all her baby weight has disappeared. Now fans are starting to worry for the singer's health after such a dramatic weight loss.
