Prominent Egyptian comedian actor Adel Imam revealed that he paid a special visit to prominent Syrian singer George Wassouf, who is currently at the American University Hospital in Beirut recovering from a brain stroke. Adel stated that he felt it his duty as an artist to wish George a speedy recovery in person, especially since he considers George to be one of the best Arab singers.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Adel stated that he wishes George takes better care of his health in the period to come because he has encountered numerous illnesses in the past months.
Adel revealed that during his visit, George was unable to communicate with him due to his critical condition.
On a different note, Adel stated that he has resumed filming the scenes for his upcoming television drama “Naji Attallah’s group”, which is scheduled to be aired during the Ramadan season of 2012. He added that a number of outdoor scenes will be filmed in different areas around Lebanon.
