Actress Barbie Hsu's death reason finally revealed

ALBAWABA - Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu died on Feb. 2 aged 48. She is well known for participating in the popular TV drama “Meteor Garden”.

Barbie Hsu's younger sister, Dee Hsu, who is also a famed TV host, announced that her sister died after contracting pneumonia triggered by the flu.

"I am grateful that in this lifetime I was able to be her sister, taking care of each other and being companions. I will forever be thankful for her and miss her!" Dee Hsu stated on Monday.

Her death caused great sadness and shock among her fans who expressed condolences to her family via social media.

Co-star Jerry Yan released a statement following Barbie Hsu's death saying: "Thankful for meeting you. In your carefree, childlike years, you always said, treat every day as your last. To have a great time. I hope you walk slowly this time. From now, in another world, there will be no worries and the years will be peaceful."
