Egyptian director Hassan Al Saifi has nominated Abu Baker Ezzat to star in his new comedy series, instead of Kamal Al Shinnawi, who sent his regrets for being unable to play the role, according to the Arabic daily Al Sharq Al Awsat.
Costarring in the series, World Without Secrets, are Samah Anwar, Abdullah Farghali, Shwikar, Laila Taher, Dina Abdullah, Mamdouh Wafi and Osama Abbas. The script was written by Fidaa Al Shandawily.
Meanwhile, Ezzat is shooting the new TV series Ahlam Sanabel (Sanabel’s Dreams), along with Nermin Al Faqi, Khairiyya Ahmed and Mimi Gamal. The script was written by Mustafa Ibrahim and marks Osama Anwar Okasha's debut in directing a TV series.
Ezzat has recently finished shooting his scenes in the soap opera Ghadan Faltabdaa Al Hayat (Let Life Start Tomorrow), which is being directed by Samah Anwar in her first time in the director's chair.
