According to the London daily Elaph, during the making of the television drama series “Asmahan”, the Syrian actress Jomanah Murad said the part was presented to her first before it was offered to her Syrian colleague Solaf Fawakhrji.
Rumors claim a conflict has erupted between the Egyptian actress Elham Shaheen and Ghada Abed Al Razaq over who will play the leading role in the new biography drama series “Shajart Al Dur.”
Ghada took part in the film “Khaltit Fawzyeh” (Fawzyeh’s Recipe”), starring and produced by Elham Shaheen. The two actresses clashed after Ghada became upset, claiming that some of her scenes were omitted.
Ghada said that acting in the same drama with Elham Shaheen is impossible.
Many say that Ghada’s announcement about playing the role of “Shajart Al Dur” is to get back at Elham Shaheen, but it is still unclear which actor will play the part.
