Egyptian star Ahmed Zaki has revealed that contacts are now being made with the director of the Hollywood hit Pearl Harbor, Michael Bay, to participate in directing the actor’s new film, according to the daily Al Ahram.
“The director of the film Pearl Harbor, which generated the highest income in the international cinema this year, will participate in the direction of the scenes of the airstrike, which will last for half an hour, in the new film Al Darbah Al Gawiya (Airstrike),” Zaki confirmed.
He said, “the film tells accurately about the details of enhancement and modernization which the Egyptian air force witnessed during the period when President Mubarak was the air force commander. It also tells how Mubarak managed to make the air force the key to what Egypt describes as the October victory over Israel. The film also describes how the Israeli forces were paralyzed completely after the Egyptian air force had launched its airstrikes against Israel during the October 1973 war - Albawaba.com
