DHL appoints Stephen Duff to boost Bahrain Express Hub operations

DHL Express announced that Stephen Duff has become General Manager at the DHL Express Bahrain Hub. As General Manager, Duff will be improving the service quality performance across his team of over 500 employees at the Bahrain Hub while reinforcing the Hub as a center of excellence within the DHL hubs network.
Duff started as a courier in Dublin in 1992 and worked his way up to assume various management posts including Area Operations Manager in Dubai in 1997 and Director of Gateways for Japan in 2005. Just prior to his current appointment, he was Senior Director of Programs and Processes for Germany, including the European Central Air Hub in Leipzig.
Chris Bresnahan, Head of Network Operations, DHL Express Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa, said, "Middle East is a fast-growing region where a significant and growing volume of shipment run through our Bahrain Hub annually. As our regional headquarters, the Bahrain Hub plays a critical role in our intercontinental network. It is an entry point into Middle Eastern countries and acts as a link to Europe and Asia. We are pleased to have Duff come on board and enhance our operations on the ground, given his wide range of experience within DHL."
