Oman LNG company to finance construction of 50 housing units

An agreement was signed at the Omani Housing, Electricity and Water Ministry Tuesday between the Ministry and Oman LNG Company. Under the terms of the agreement, the Oman LNG company will finance the construction of 50 housing units in Muscat and Musandam governorates and the Batinah and the Dhahirah regions at a cost of RO. 500,000.

 

According to ONA, these housing units will be distributed to citizens who meet the terms and conditions of the Ministry's housing assistance program. 

 

Oman LNG company financed 75 housing units in 2001 and 40 units in 2002 and 25 in 2003 which where constructed and distributed under the supervision of Oman Charitable Organisation (OCO), adding that the new 40 housing units will be distributed to beneficiaries under the supervision of the Ministry of Housing, Electricity and Water.
